Eilean Donan

Eilean Donan Castle is in a rich landscape which is perfect for photography. Eilean Donan sits on an islet in the middle of 3 lochs , surrounded by mountains. "Eilean Donan" means island of Donan , an 11th century religious figure. If you take castle picture from the hillside overlooking the castle you can see Skye in the background. A small row of houses on the hillside must have one of the best views in Britain as they all overlook the castle.
Number 18 in the UK's top 20 camp sites is the Shiel Bridge Campsite, Glenshiel, Kyle of Lochalsh, Ross-shire, Highlands .
Glen Shiel, near the Five Sisters of Kintail and the Forcan Ridge, is a place for  some of the world’s most dramatic scenery.
